Opening of Padelwerk Messe Basel

The opening of our newest Padelwerk location at the Messe Basel was a complete success and a milestone in the expansion of our company. Last Saturday, families, friends, partners and sponsors as well as enthusiastic players flocked to Hall 2 at Messe Basel to take part in the special moment. The new location includes an impressive 6 padel singles courts, 4 badminton courts and 3 pickleball courts – an expansion that emphasises Padelwerk’s sporting diversity and commitment to high-quality sports facilities.

The day began with a musical kick-off by JRG Musik and the talented singer Naomi Jet, who put the guests in a decidedly celebratory mood. An inspiring talk with our initiators Marco Streller and Flurin Lutz, hosted by Kevin Wandji Tchatat, was the centrepiece of the event. Marco and Flurin not only reflected on the exciting journey that Padelwerk has been on so far, but also gave insights into the company’s ambitious future. They emphasised that Padelwerk will continue to grow – the goal is 20 locations, which will ultimately be transferred to an innovative licensing model. Particularly exciting: the upcoming projects in Germany, which mark a new chapter in our success story. A decisive factor for our growth is the latest cooperation with renowned partner Red Bull, which stokes our commitment to sport and our brand all the more.

The afternoon was spent in a relaxed atmosphere, with networking and drinks accompanied by DJ Fabio Tamborini, who provided the perfect musical backdrop. Sports enthusiasts also got their money’s worth: while some tried their hand on the new padel courts, Dominik Kuhn led a pickleball workshop that generated a lot of enthusiasm.

The celebration surrounding the opening of Padelwerk Messe Basel was not only a thank you to our loyal community, but also a promise for the future: Padelwerk will remain the first port of call for innovative sport, community and unforgettable moments. Stay tuned, because the journey has only just begun.

We would like to thank:
